Unable to set up data on iphone 8

I am unable to manually update  my APNs on my iphone 8. I live in BC, canada

thanks for your reply. And yes, it’s resolved now. I’ve updated my profile, and turned off my phone and it worked.

If restart your phone and reset network does not work. connect your iPhone 8 to your itune account on your pc.

@Sylviamarg  reset your network settings and restart your phone.  The Ipone 8 should propagate the correct apn settings.  Enable data, sms and mms to get texts from Android phones. Welcome to PM. Stay safe.

reset network settings on your iPhone 8 Plus

1. Tap Settings to open the app.
2. Tap General.
3. Tap Reset.
4. Select the option to Reset Network Settings.
5. If prompted, enter the device password.
6. Confirm action.

With newer iPhones like the 8, you do not need to manually adjust the APN settings.  It should be automatic.  

Try rebooting phone.

Network rest.  

Toggle airplane mode on, then off
