I recieved the following bot message which I do not understand:
"If you have a plan that includes unlimited international messaging, you can send messages from the USA as long as you are in Canada. When roaming in the US, your unlimited international messaging feature may not apply, and you may need a US Roaming add-on that includes the SMS feature to send messages."

that is a confusing message. If you have a basic Canada only plan, you need a texting add-on for us while in USA. I(f you have a Canada/US plan, you can use your plan in US as you would in  Canada...talk / text/data would be expected to work while in both.
