Hi,
I purchased the 1GB US roaming. I am in Hawaii. I have followed all the steps that have been outlined in many posts. Turned on roaming, changed APN, restarted network settings, restarted phone but nothing is working.
Help?

Thanks for clarifying since I could not confirm by user experience....kinda like points are difficult to advise on when you are in the rewards program.

The roaming data part will be there. All parts will be in plan details.

Since I have never purchased a US Roaming data add on can you confirm whether or not it would appear on the overview page under "my data and add ons" (with a data counter)? Since @esjliv has cast doubt in my mind on whether I have given the correct info and/or poor wording in my post.
Thanks!

@Ericatucker2 Is your data turned on and do you have roaming data turned on? Roaming data will be under my data & add-ons. All features will be on the plan details page.

@Ericatucker2 - Just making sure you purchased the correct 1GB.
Are you sure you see the addon listed under the PLAN DETAILS section, here, as this is where it should be listed:
https://selfserve.publicmobile.ca/Overview/plan-and-Add-ons/ChangePlanLandingPage/
This is the CORRECT one for USA = $20
You don't want to see it listed under the overview tab, under "My Data & Add-Ons" as that means you purchased the wrong addon for use in CANADA ONLY = $15
If you see the payment history showing $15 for the 1GB addon, found here:
https://selfserve.publicmobile.ca/Overview/payment/Payment-History/ then, you purchased the wrong addon.
This one is for use in CANADA ONLY.
edit ... Correction above, poor choice of wording and would like to correct.
My post was answering the Roaming Talk and Text location, which only appears in the Plan Details section if added correctly.
Roaming Data 'counts down'...so if added correctly, it should should up in overview (until fully consumed).
Thanks for helping me loop back on that one @darlicious

I did buy the add on. It is showing up on my profile under add ons. When I go to click at+t or any of the providers that show up none of them connect.

As suggested by @cellphoneuser1 first check your self serve account for the US Roaming data add on. If you purchased correctly rather than just manually topping up your account you will see both the manual top up payment as a credit to your account balance and the US Roaming add on after it as a debit.
If you don't see the second transaction then go back to the add ons page to select, confirm and submit your US Roaming add on purchase. Note the time as it will expire (unless you consume the data beforehand) exactly 240 hours later (24 hrs×10 days) and unless you contact customer support will have to wait 24 hours before the same add on will reappear and be available for purchase in your self serve account.
Once the US Roaming data add on is successfully purchased check for it to appear on your overview page, add ons page and under your plans and add ons as well as your transaction page. Then log out and reboot your phone. Make sure roaming and mobile data is enabled in your phone and manually select either at&t or T-Mobile.

Don't change the APN. The APN is the as when you're in Canada. Was data working before you left?
Go into your acciunt and see it you really bought the add-on. If the balace is higher than expected, you added money but didn't buy the add-on. Go back to complete the purchase.
