Hey, so I just tried calling my husband, its a 438 number, so obviously Canada, right?
I keep getting the same message that I don't have the US Roaming Add-on... Okay I know that, but I'm literally in CANADA trying to call someone IN CANADA.
I tried calling my dad, who lives in the US and has a US number and that works just fine. Makes sense, doesn't it? I can call a US number without US Roaming from Canada, but I can't call a Canadian number while being in Canada.
Anyone else have this issue? Any ideas on how to fix this?
TIA

While in Canada you need a USA LD add on to call a USA number.
Your Canada wide calling, while you are in Canada, should connect with any Canadian phone number.
Turn your roaming off and make sure your default carrier is Public Mobile.
The Public Mobile servcie sometimes has probelms with customers being told they're roaming when they're actually not. This is a Public Mobile system issue and I went tthrough this myself.

Try adding 1 in front of your husband’s number.
Normally the notice about not having US Roaming is because your account is suspended but that doesn’t sound like the case since you can call your father.
You can contact a CS_Agent to have this straightened out for you by private messaging them.
