For some time PM roaming partner T-Mobile has been announcing April 2 2024 for the final shutdown of their 2G network but recently this has changed to an as yet undetermined date although they are still gradually continuing to dismantle it. So this is a reprieve for customers planning on roaming in the USA with a non-VoLTE phone, as long as there is still 2G available in the particular areas they are visiting.
