Hi,
@members
I have a Canada-US plan and I am going to the U.S this weekend, do I need to buy the US roaming add-ons or I will just switch the data roaming on?

Personally, when I head down to the US, I find T-Mobile more reliable.
Side note, please let us know what phone your using while there. A lot of folks get these plans only to find out their phone itself isn't compatible with Public Mobile so they can't use the plan they paid for. Thank you.

@Jessie_James Can try T mobile / AT&T and Verizon but if you leave your phone on automatic it should pick up best roaming partner on its own

it will be one of AT&T, T-Mobile, or Verizon. Which is best depends on the specific location.

No, you don't need to buy anything additional. Just switch roaming on and connect to T-Mobile or AT&T, Verizon.
You will automatically receive a text message saying to purchase roaming but that is default so you can ignore.
Important though, you must have VoLTE enabled phone to make calls in the US as they no longer use the 3G system.

No add-on req'd..just make sure to enable Roaming Data in cellphone settings...otherwise your data should work just fine. For talk, you need a cellphone that Public Mobile has recognised as VoLTE enabled...otherwise no talkabily in USA.

No roaming add-on is needed, but yes, data roaming needs to be turned on in the device's settings to use data in the US.
