Hi, I purchased a 200 minute US/Canadian long-distance add-on on Aug. 7th from Hawaii. My phone is still saying I don't have long-distance and I still can't make calls. This is despite the money coming out of my account and the add-on showing as having been purchased. My trip is over tomorrow so it's pretty much pointless at this point, but I'm kind of frustrated because now I've spent the money and gotten nothing in return. (I should note that I'd previously purchased the same add-on in July to correspond with the first ten days of my trip.)
Just wondering if anyone has any thoughts. I've turned the phone on and off, and it's not a data plan so "data roaming" shouldn't matter.
Thanks!

Thanks, at least I understand why it hasn't worked -- a problem with me, not with the phone or company. Won't repeat the same mistake next time!

As stated above, you bought the wrong add on. If you are in Hawaii, you should have bought the US roaming packages (that last 10 days). Too late now, I guess. You can still use the 200 minutes for calling the United States from Canada. There is no expiry date on the add on minutes.
For example,

Are you traveling outside of canada or in canada?
That addon is only for use while you inside canada.
Also sometimes reboot helps to pick up the new feature
