I have a new first time public mobile subscription and when I log in, it tells me that a six digit code has been sent to my phone, but the phone did not ring and I did not receive a text message either?

did you request porting in number when you joined? is that true you can make calls but cannot receive inbound calls and text?
if you requested porting, Did you get a text from the old carrier, did you reply YES?
and can you receive inbound phone calls, especially from Non-Telus/Koodo/PM phone? If you cannot the port was not done

Did you prt over your number from another mobile company?
Is your service working properly with Public mobile? Data? Incoming texts and calls? Outgoing text or calls?
