Transferring my VOIP number to Public Mobile, but that number can't receive a text message

I'm activating a new Public Mobile account and setting up my eSim. During the setup it's asking me to verify my identity and a text message with a 6 digit number was sent to my VOIP phone number - WHICH IS NOT A MOBILE phone - so I can't receive the text message. How do I resolve this so I can set up my account?

Thanks. It took 5 days and my old VOIP number is now active on Public Mobile (including over a weekend). There wasn't a lot of communication about what to expect, a bit frustrating because of the text messages to my VOIP number. The Telus helpline could only answer questions about the port from my VOIP company, but nothing about how or when the old phone number would be activated at Public Mobile. Anyway all good now.

It could take up to two weeks to port VOIP number to public mobile.

@waterboyPM  can you call your voip company and ask them if you can verbally approve the port?

If they say yes, call the number I have provided in another message to have it redone once your all set to go.
