Good day,
I was on Public Mobile but i recently transferred to a different provider. I ported my number so I could use it with my new service.
Currently, I am not able to access my selfserve. I was paying thru autopay and was not able to change this before I ported my number. Does PM have an access to my credit card and still deduct my monthly fee? Or this means that I am already out of Public Mobile and they cannot charge me.
Thank you.

@jommiejr...
what made you decide to go elsewhere ? Did you find a more attractive provider that you could share their info with us.
We're always open to good deals !!

For sure. Never used this feature (Community) until now since I never had a problem with Public Mobile 😉

If you signed up for those emails then you'll probably keep getting them until you unsubscribe yourself.
You might even still get 51xx SMS offers from PM ... I don't know, I've never left PM or tested it, lol.
But, as others have said, your account has closed and closed accounts cannot charge your credit card.

Does this mean I will not be charge for the next months? I am just making sure because I still received a promotional email from PM.
You will not be charged if your number has been ported out. Your account is closed automatically, which is the reason you cannot log in.

Hello @jommiejr ,
In case you are still in the middle of being ported over to the new provided and you are concerned you may get charged (if your renewal is very soon) check in with the Public Mobile moderators to make sure.
To contact the Public Mobile Moderator_Team, there are two ways to reach them:
1 - Click the bubble comment circle on the bottom right hand side of your screen to talk to SIMon the chat bot or link:
https://widget.telus.tiia.ai/publicmobile/publicmobile.html
OR
2 - Contact the Public Mobile Moderator_Team via private message using this link:

You'll need to contact moderators now either via the chatbot bubble bottom right or click on the envelope icon (top right) and send a private message to Moderator_Team.
Edit: If you didn't remove your CC from your account contact the moderators or phone your CC company to make sure no further charges from PM occur as occasionally that has happened to other users in the past.

Once your number is ported out to a new provider, your account with PM is closed automatically. Nothing to worry about.
