Transfer phone number

I transferred my phone number to Public mobile on Friday. Now I can make phone calls by using the temporary number, but cannot receive a call to the number I transferred.

I replied YES when I did the transfer on Friday. I just checked my old sim and found it is still working. When I installed my old sim, I got a message that asked me to restart the transfer process. I did it again and now wait for the confirmation message from Public Mobile.

Did you reply to the text with YES from your old carrier with the old SIM in your phone? This is the most criticial step in porting your old number over. You have 90 minutes to reply to the text but since this has expired. 

If your old SIM is still working then porting was not completed.

Why did you pick a new number? Is your old plan a prepaid Koodo plan? If it is then you will need to contact a CS_Agent to port your number over to PM. 

If it is not a prepaid Koodo plan, just login to your account and go to your Profile tab>Transfer Phone Number but reply to the text this time with YES you are porting over.
