Hi , I transferred from virgin mobile to public mobile yesterday, still now i cannot receive messages. I believe I am not fully transferred. Please help.

all is good now, i called my old provider and they called my frequent contact then did a verification . i can receive texts now.

Here what I would suggest you to do as it just happened to me and I got it fixed easily.
first put you virgin sim back in your phone, then with your virgin sim call customer service (611) and ask them to cancel the port request from their end if the number is still active with them.
once that is done try to login to your public mobile self serve and do your port request again. it is common for koodo/telus/public to send the port confirmation twice. sometimes it happens sometimes not so make sure to answer to the port request message every time you get it.

An agent will reply at the envelope icon top right, or tap your avatar for Messages. It's not unusual for OTP texts to take a couple of days or so after a transfer.

If you place your Virgin SIM card back in the phone and reboot it, do you still have an active SIM? If not, then there is a number you can call to get this resolved. If the SIM card is not working, have you tried rebooting your phone with the PM SIM card in it?
