@CS_Agent. I have read that transferring a number from a Kodo prepaid account requires an extra step. Is that the same for a Telus prepaid account? If so, how do I fix the mess I made because I tried to initiate the number transfer when I installed the sim card

I thought I did, but I guess I should put that Sim back in to verify. Thank you for clarification.

@CelinaC When transferring a number you need to keep the old provider's sim in the phone to reply YES within 90 minutes of receiving their text message asking your permission to release the number. It sounds like you may not have done that?

hi @CelinaC from what we understand, you can request port in from Telus Prepaid during activation without the extra steps like porting in from Koodo Prepaid
