Can you please summit a request with my old carrier (virgin) to transfer my number with public mobile? I’ve tried switching with my new SIM card from public but it didn’t work properly. I want to keep my current phone number. Just need to switch it from virgin mobile. I’ve restalled my virgin sim card so you can do this for me.
thanks

@Icekween your Virgin account still active?
and you already request port on PM side once, either during activation or via My Account??
Call the porting support and talk to live support, they can reinitiate the request. Check your Community inbox for the number

Common mistake with most new members by putting the PM SIM in your phone with confirming to the previous carrier that you are porting your old number over to PM.
You need to put the Virgin SIM in your phone and reply to the text with YES. There is only a 90 minute window for you to reply.
You will need to contact a CS_Agent if you missed this window to restart the porting process. Create a Ticket on SIMon Chatbot below or private message on the envelope icon above.
Meanwhile, your Virgin SIM still works.

Did you end up just taking a new number here and not doing the transfer? If so, then you can do it all yourself in your account.
Keep the Virgin account active and yes the sim in a phone to reply to the confirmation text from Virgin.

Check out your mailbox and I'll send you a phone number to call about that.
Keep your old Virgin sim card in your phone until you get the text message from Virgin and you reply yes.
Then you can put the PM sim card in your phone. Good luck.
