just switched over to Public Mobile from Rogers and I’m not able to send or receive text messages from Android users. Anyone have any ideas on how to fix that ?

@Digger2209 Sounds like the port is stuck , no worries I’ll send you the porting team number private message they can re trigger the port request for you . Leaving old providers SIM card in the phone to reply YES to the confirmation text

hi @Digger2209 is your Rogers account still active? If active but you are not getting porting authorization text, call Rogers. It is not something PM can help
But you can also call PM porting team to resend the request once more. Will message you the porting team number

Maybe try a full power down restart of the phone. Try reset network settings.
Adding - I see your update. Leave the old sim in a phone and then call that number.

OK. Sounds like the port didn't fully work and you will have to contact the porting team. No worries, look up top to the right... a little mail... you got mail.

Before you inserted your PM SIM card, did you get a text from Rogers asking permission to port your number? If so, did you say YES? This is the important thing to do. If you did and it's still not working, I'll send you a message with the porting team number to call in my mail up top to the right.
