How do I activate T911 (Text 911 service)?
The help articles are all old af, and the link it says to follow to contact support to set it up just goes to the public mobile homepage.
This is a huge issue, as this limits the accessibility to emergency services.

Thanks @Anonymous
TTY relay isn’t something that is preferred in emergency situations, but it’s quite helpful in general. Most of the relay operators are not trained to deal with traumatic situations and may panic and they aren’t supported should they suffer the effects of second hand trauma exposure, so it’s something I’d like to avoid.
I received a DM from the mod team. It’s self serve, you just have to text “T911” 428911 and follow the prompts, should anyone else need this info. Hopefully they update their help documents soon.
edit: here is the updated doc.

Thank you for the reply, Rosie. I believe that article is referring to NG911 which is to replace T911 by 2023.

Hi @challa it seems that this new system is coming by June 2023 per this news article
https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/toronto/new-911-system-toronto-1.5497012
All 911 service providers across the country have been mandated by the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) to change from an analog, landline-based system, to a fully digital one that operates on an IP network by June 2023.
I hope this helps. Happy New Year

I’m not sure what happened to my reply.
Anyway, it is available in Canada. Www.textwith911.ca. Public mobile is even listed on the registration page, but the link goes to an outdated how-to with a dead contact link.

Doesn't seem to be available on this network.
edit...gogle says it's not even available anywhere in the Great White North. (Canada) Maybe others can confirm.
