Anyone have experience with this issue? I was logged into my Apple ID on same device before, but once I switched to Public with an eSim I'm unable to access Apple ID, factime, iMessage etc. At very top of Settings my account is shown, but it's greyed out and I cannot click on it.
Only have eSim for this device, tried turning phone on and off.

I don't know if its the same thing, but I managed to do this to my device recently. I turned off Account and Passcode changes in Screen Time->Content & Privacy Restrictions.

Yes, data is on and even with wifi messages only send as text and cannot click on Apple id settings 😞

If you're not in a Wi-Fi area, do you have mobile data enabled?
I think you'd need them for iMessage and FaceTime to function.
