Suspended but quarantine by Virus

I have 18$ on my account but suspended, could I get 4 days grace as I need phone as I will be unable to go the bank for anot4 days and not set up on auto pay . Please need help thanks

We are just a community group made up of customers of Public Mobile thus we can’t do anything to help you out besides offering suggestions. Since you say you are now suspended (I believe) for lack of funds to renew, once you get the required amount of funds there you will find a “Reactivate” button there somewhere that you need to click to get it to take the funds and start your next 30 days. As mentioned, if you can live on the $15 plan you have enough to switch to it. If that gets you even 5-10 days further along you haven’t lost much...$15 for 10 days then do an immediate switch back to your $40 plan for the next 30 days once you’ve sorted the funding problem. If you actually are on a $45 plus tax plan (which no longer exits) you won’t be able to switch back to it though so consider that first. Was that the $45 plus tax 6 Gb plan tgat you are on? It was eliminated earlier last year but anyone who is still on it can stay on it until you switch to a different plan.

@DanielFedyk  Are you on the $40/4.5gb plan + tax? Or on an older $45 plan? Do you have wifi at home? Your going to be stuck at home for the next few weeks regardless if you're self isolating or under quarantine. If you have WiFi or can connect to shaws go free WiFi you won't really need mobile data. Go into your account see if you can switch to the $15 plan (or ask the moderators to do it for you) you'll have unlimited SMS, MMS and incoming calling. 100 outgoing minutes will certainly last you another 4 days til you get to the bank. You can add the $5/500 min calling add on to supplement your plan minutes (and stays on your account til completely used.) Just stay on this plan for a month or until you really need mobile data. With all the free WiFi everyone is offering and having to basically stay home you should be good. You might even get the 250mb without autopay but apply for that koho card tonight they mail it out in the morning you might get it by Friday and register it for autopay the same day you can probably leave your home....to go to the bank, get groceries, run a couple errands and go back home again to hang out socially distant like the rest if us.

@DanielFedyk  Im not sure how much your plan is....im assuming $25? Do you have a friend or family member who could purchase a $10 voucher from shell or London drugs and send you the pin #? You could etransfer the funds to them....you must have someone you can trust?

 For future payments apply online for a koho account it takes 5 minutes, about 5 business days to get your visa/debit card that you can register for autopay and save $2 a month and get a minimum 0.5% cash back on your debit/visa purchases.

You may have to change plans to the $15 plan.  Not sure if the moderators have been given the powers for some goodwill during this time.  

To contact the moderators you need to click on the "?" in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen.  This will take you to SIMon the chatbot and there you will follow the prompts to raise a trouble ticket.

Community Moderators are available from Monday-Friday 8 am(Eastern) to 12 am(Eastern) and Saturday, and Sunday from 8 am(Eastern) to 10 pm(Eastern)

If you don't have a credit card or visa/mastercard debit that Public Mobile or an online retailer would accept, I would suggest talking to a friend to see if one of them would be willing to purchase a  top of from recharge.com or ding.com for you and you can pay your friend back later. 

Others could do it for you if you're willing to EMT the money to them ahead of time, but that would open up a whole set of problems if some people decided to accept money and not give the top up code to the other person. For this reason, I'd advise talking to someone who you personally know to ask for such a favor.

If you set up Autopay right now you could reactivate right now onto your credit card. Or do you not have a credit card you can use? You have enough of a balance to renew on the $15 plan right now but maybe that won’t be enough to get you through? I think someone said it is not straight forward to reactivate a suspended plan in conjunction with a plan change though. May need moderators help to accomplish. Others will know more about that.
