Change plan to 15$

Hello how do I change my plan to 15$ per month ? I am under quarantine and phone is suspended as I was under 45$ plan . As soon as I can leave the house I will buy add on and change . Thanks Daniel Fedyk . My # 1************

I have this plan it's great! I've saved so much money since switching from fido. I might go over my minutes by 10 minutes a month so I have the $5 add on so I don't run out. I've been using public mobile for 6 months and I still have over 400 minutes left. For $13 it's really cheap.

@DanielFedyk  If you have not changed your plan already follow these steps to do so....

  1. Clear your browser. Open only one tab in secret/incognito mode in Firefox or chrome.
  2. Log in to your account. Go to change plan. Click on $15 plan. (It will open up.)
  3. Scroll down to the bottom of page. Choose change plan now. (Immeadiately)
  4. Go to your overview page. Click reactivate if not already active.
  5. Log out. Reboot phone. Service should be active. If not return for further help.

Remember all outgoing calls are rounded up to the minute. (5 sec or 30 sec or 59 sec=1min ) (1min+8sec=2 min) Calling voicemail counts as outgoing min. Set your data tracker, data saver, data warning, restrict background data on apps, turn off wifi assist and mobile data off if not needed. Text friends and family to call you. Purchase $5/500 min add on when you can. Did you take the pm free holiday 1gb data add on and 400 Intl. calling min add on at Xmas? They may still be on your account (on the bottom of your overview page.) The 400 Intl min add on can be used for Canada wide minutes if you run out of plan minutes (they are $0.04 per min vs $0.01 per min).

 

@DanielFedyk in the meantime you can add a voip app such as TextNow and use it over WiFi to make/ receive/ send calls and texts for free to the US and in Canada.

On reading your other threads I see you have $18 in your account. Nevermind my comment about recharge.com. Just log in to your self-serve and under the red Plan Expired click on Change Plan. Click the radio button dot thing next to the $15 plan. Scroll down some more and finish the process. It'll take $15 from your $18 leaving you $3. It might start up on its own or you can go back to the top overview page and click on Reactivate in the upper right.

If you're wondering about all the notification emails you might be getting..don't reply to them. They're just notifications. Come back here to communicate in the Community.

You should understand that this is the PM Community, an open public internet forum, and that we (for the most part) are just Public Mobile customers like you, we aren't PM employees. Any personal information (like your phone number) that you post here is visible to anyone on the internet (and to the search engines) and once it's out there PM cannot do anything to protect it.

 

PM Self-Serve is your private account, with a separate login, where you can make changes to your plan and billing and service details.

 

PM Moderators are paid employees of Public Mobile. Only they can access or change your Self-Serve account stuff. But you must contact them directly through a private message or through requesting a support ticket from the SIMon chatbot. They do not regularly read these PM Community posts and they cannot confirm your identity through your PM Community login. Be aware that response times are slower than usual because PM, like everyone else, is affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

If you don't have $15 in your Available Funds then buy at least $15 of voucher value from recharge.com. Log in to your self-serve. Change Plan. It will ask for money. Redeem the voucher. Maybe possibly click the Reactivate button upper right.

@DanielFedyk log into your self serve and pick change plan and ask for it to be done immediately not on the next renewal.  Please stop putting in your phone number to your posts!!
