I have just found out that my existing phone number will not be accepted at public mobile. The message actually says the number is "invalid". I have paid $49.72 for one month, a SIM card and taxes. How do I get a refund?

any chance you are trying to port from Koodo Prepaid service? if you are, then support can help you to complete the transfer
or the. error coild also indicate you submitted a port request already

It might take an hour or so for them to get back to you depending on how busy they are so just keep checking your inbox for messages, the top right corner should have an envelope icon where you can find your messages

you can submit ticket to agent by using this Chatbot link: https://widget.telus.tiia.ai/publicmobile/publicmobile.html Type the question "Submit ticket", Then click the following in order: "Contact Us" , "Other", "Log In".

please check again for phone number eligibility here (It is a Koodo site, but Koodo and PM use the same Telus system)

if it really shows not eligible to port, you can ask PM support agent to arrange refund since your account has not been fully activated yet
