I have 2 cell phones currently with Rogers. How do I make a seamless switch to Public Mobile? Will the response be from a Public Mobile employee, or from someone else?

There's not usually a response from Public Mobile unless something goes wrong. Other than that text message from Rogers for you to repsond to, numberr porting is automated.

Each phone number you have to port to one - unique PM account.
So, you have to get two separate eSIM or physical SIM, open 2 accounts using unique emails (aliases are allowed), activate SIM, etc. Select any available two phone numbers. Confirm both accounts are active and all services are working as expected.
THEN: ALL accounts have to be active! Rogers' and PM's. Initiate number transfer. Keep Rogers' SIM in the phones and reply YES within 90 minutes of receiving authorization SMS from Rogers.
Wait few hours and then put PM SIM into phones and confirm number is transferred calling somebody or receiving call.
DO NOT leave any messages to PM staff here as they do NOT communicate with customers through this public forum.

@BigGuy No PM employee will help do for you do it yourself . You need to get 2 new public mobile SIM cards can order from Amazon or buy form Telus/koodo store or eSIM if phone supports it .and you will need two separate email for each account . Use referral code from first account to create second account . Using the PM app download it and follow the prompts once you have made payment you will have opportunity to transfer number from Roger’s . Leaving the Roger’s sim in the phone to reply YES to the confirmation text .

hi @BigGuy PM support is all online. People who try here are just customers but you can also open ticket with PM support and PM employees will reply you by private message.
To port number into PM , make sure your Rogers account is active, and check if your number cam be ported

Buy PM sim card from Telus or Koodo store or azon. Them download the PM app and activate. After the payment step is the phone number step. You choose porting there. Make sure you provide your Rogers account number instead of IMEI
Rogers will later send you a text to your Rogers sim and you need to reply yes to complete the transfer
