Hello,
I am a new subscriber - I just subscribed to 20$ plan but when activating/subscribing it said I have the 40$ plan. There is no 50% discount applied. Please help.

Hi, it’s different on another household members line it has the 50% off in their plan details so I’m suspecting there might be a discrepancy

The 50% off promo is credited to your account every 30 days. If you picked the $40/month plan then the $20 credit is part of the promo.

Hello Team
i activated the 50% plan last week and note that my subscription still does not have the 50% off for 24 months.
I did however received my refund of 20$. Will this be fixed?

There is a lot of us experiencing the same thing.

No live chat.
This has been an issue since the promo started in Friday, honestly, I don't think anyone knows exactly what is happening and the fix yet. Just hang tight for a few days.
Some said it will fix itself but...

Was setting up new 20$ 60gb plan but when I got into the app it’s asked me to resubscribe cause the payment failed. I was charged 20$ + tax two times.
Now it says I’m on the 40$ plan and 40$ is due next month.
My other household member also subscribed and has the 50% off on his plan promo. Is Public mobile fixing this and refunding the extra charged amount?
is there a option for live chat?

hi @slusagm , last time the $20 off for $55 plan, and this time, PM should have said clearly how they will deal with the discount.
and look like a small number of existing customers got the 50% offer on their My Account and they had trouble getting the plan, probably just a system glitch but we can all tell people are upset

@amyzhu we are only customers here and we try our best to share our experience
but we saw too many confusing posts with this 50% 0ff offer, so many different experience shared by them. Ask PM to confirm if that plan has a 50% off
Just open ticket with PM using the Orange Chatbot icon on the lower right. (For 2FA when login, you might need to use email to receive if you cannot receive the text on the phone.) Type the question Submit ticket and select Contact Us to get to ticket open screen
But if you have trouble using Chatbot to open ticket, then message PM using this link:

HI @hairbag1
with the old $55 plan and you got $20 off, we paid full price first and get a $20 credit couple days later. I am not 100% sure i remember corrrectly, on the first renewal, there is another $20 credit already add, so just paid $15 that first month. Then from that month on $20 credit and paid $35
I hope the same this time.

so when initially activates, customer pays full cost but gets $20 credit towards next renewal and same for the next 24 mos....is this correct ? So he must stay for 25 mos then.

hi @amyzhu
the true plan value is $40. And they will ask you to pay full price first and then give you a $20 credit within 72 days. At least that was how the previous offers like this work
And every month, they will add another $20 credit on renewal and charge only $20 + tax
