State side roaming fees

Hi there,  I am paying for the $15 plan. I will be going state side for a couple of days. Does my data still work when I am there?

Not without a Roaming calling addon @Southside .

You must have an Active plan to be able to use any roaming addons. So ensure your plan is active if you are wanting to use and addons.

Will in the USA, it is said the incoming texts can be received on an Active plan, but all other public mobile services will require a Roaming addon whilst in the USA.

Your options are:

1. buy roaming add-ons

2. use wifi somewhere and use a voip app like TextNow that can do both talk and text but it's a whole other number.

3. buy service from a US provider but it's a whole other number

You asked about your data. You could buy the roaming data add-on.

If you are on the $15/month plan, your phone will not work in the US. If will work on free wifi. You need to purchase an US Roaming Add-on to use on AT&T or T-Mobile network.
