I have an iPhone 7 I got a public Mobile sim activated it by following the steps given it didn’t work. Brought it to where I purchased it a rep helped to ensure activation with a public mobile rep on the phone as well. I was told to insert the sim in 15 -20 min it still doesn’t work. Waited a day to try again still not working

Worst comes to worst if it doesn’t work. Bring the phone and SIM back to where you purchased it from and have them to help you to get you running.

@Aliesha   you shouldn't leave the store until it works.. LoL

There has been many SIM provisioning issue lately. Very likely the SIM wasn't properly provisioned on the back end.  If you have another phone around, put your PM SIM there and try it.  if same result, please open ticket with PM Support:

Try signing into your apple ID in your new phone.   Also, attempt to connect phone to iTunes on a computer.

Ensure the device isn't blacklisted:

Did you port your old number or did pick a new number?

Try rebooting the phone by powering off then power back on.

You may just need to be reconnected to the Public Mobile network.

Try one or more of the below:

*turn off your phone, leave off for a few minutes, then reboot

*removing your SIM, then reinserting it

*go into airplane mode, then going back to regular mode

*perform a reset network settings on your device

*Is your phone locked? Contact your previous provider to unlock it for you. You will need your imei number, dial *#06# to get it.

*Check if your phone is blacklisted here: https://www.devicecheck.ca/check-status-device-canada/

*manually select the 3G / WCDMA ONLY network in your Mobile Connections area in your settings (temporarily) for dropping or unable to make incoming/outgoing calls

Did your port over a cell or landline/voip number?

Leave the OLD provider SIM card in your phone to accept the PORT via SMS/text.

If you missed this 90 minute window, submit a ticket via this link to re-initiate the port:
