From what I understand I need the user name of a mediator to private message them to get my sim P.U.K code. If so could someone help me with a username please.

@realleebme_55the SIM puk code is not on the SIM card or its packaging. You have to get it from Public Mobile https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/notes/composepage/note-to-user-id/22437
What is the exact message you are getting from the phone? Also how many times have you tried entering the code? The exact message is important to determine which code you need, also if you enter the code too many times you will get locked out and need other codes.

@realleebme_55 If it says network locked then your phone was locked by your previous provider. Call then to see if they will provide you with a code. Did you by any chance create a PIN for your sim card in the past?

I tried phoning Samsung and they told me if I had the rest of the card my sim came in the puk is on that somewhere, otherwise I needed to get my puk code from my service provider.
Thank you though.

@realleebme_55 If you have a Samsung then you probably need the master unlock code.To start a live chat session from Samsung's Contact Us page: http://www.samsung.com/ca/info/contactus.html?CID=AFL-hq-mul-0813-11000170.
Hope this helps!

Some good info from cappaj from his S7 and the messages he got. You may not need a PUK.
"SIM network PIN blocked. Enter SIM network PUK."
- This is asking for Samsung's "master code" - I got this after entering the wrong code for the message below too many times. Samsung and/or your previous carrier can give you this.
"SIM network unlock PIN"
- This is asking for your previous carrier's unlock code - just contact them with your IMEI and they'll give it to you easy peasy. If you enter this incorrectly too many times, you'll get the error message above.
However if you are sure you need one to get PUK code, reach out via private message to our support teams. Click this to send them a message
PIN unlock key (PUK) is a SIM-specific code used to prevent unauthorised use of a SIM card.
The PIN (Personal Identification Number) enables secure access to the SIM card and network. It is provided with your SIM card.
Caution! If the PUK is entered incorrectly up to ten times in a row, the SIM card becomes unusable.
To get PUK code, reach out via private message to our support teams. More info here
You can also just buy a new SIM card to avoid needing a PUK code.
If you buy a new sim log into self serve here https://selfserve.publicmobile.ca/
Click Plans and Add-Ons
Click Change SIM card
Enter the new sim card number then hit submit
