I need to order a sim card from Public Mobile to be sent to my home address.   However Public Mobile rejects my address and will not allow that I update address which I do not need to do as I have been at the same address for 27 years! Please tell me how to resolve this problem. SCFL

hi @SCFL

My local Koodo store has it.  So, it is real, some carry it.

use this link and find a store close to you and call them first.

Sorry to hear about your troubles.  Corporate Telus and Koodo stores (even Mobile Klinik) should sell PM physical SIM cards.  However, their employees are not "incentivized" to sell them.  They rather sell their own plans and therefore, earn commission from the sales of their plans.

Might be able to offer you a simpler solution.  Is your present SIM card too large for your new phone?  Most PM SiM cards can be adjusted to smaller size.  Just need to "punch" out (push out) the smaller size. See below diagram:

Yes, I spent hours yesterday at Best Buy and Eaton Center Telus/Koodo/Mobile Klinik strores and was told the same thing. They do not have anything to do with Public Mobile. They do not offer any sim cards. They are very willing to have me switch to their company and purchase a cell phone that uses their network. Needless to say  I find this very frustrating and do not know how proceed. If I keep my 3G phone that I am using now I believe Public Mobile told me that my monthly fee would go up. Please advise me on what to do. I am using a Alcatel Flip Phone with a sim card that does fit in any of the newer flip phones. That is the reason I need a new sim card so that I can buy a new flip that a  updated sim card will fit into. The ideal would be to transfer all my phone contacts to a new 4G flip phone and remain a Public Mobile customer but I do not have any idea how I can actually do that. Can I stay with Public Mobile and pay a higher monthly fee to remain on the 3G network. My flip was purchased in 2012. Please help with the this problem as I really need to solve it quickly. SCFL

Hello @SCFL

Since not everyone has a month subscription to Amazon, you'll have to pay extra delivery fees.

A work around to your issue, use a friends or families address in your area. However, it will take 3 weeks to get it.

Another option is to check out Kijiji in your area or close to. Sometimes, it's just a quick drive, pay, pick it up and your back up and running.

And this is where you'll go when you log into your account to change the SIM number.

Good luck.
