Setting up payment method for public mobile

Hello I am trying to sign up for public mobile but I am having issues with the payment, I am an international student and I have bought a vanilla prepaid card but it says that payment is failed.

HI @burplede 

PM payment system is glitchy sometimes

if you are no rush to activate, wait a day, and uninstall and reinstall the app.  Try also use another email address to setup another account and go through the activation again

@burplede  When you first logged into the all did you allow the app location permission granted? If not log out of the app and go back in and allow the location permission granted and try again . Maybe first clear app cache before trying to log back in also

I tried out different canadian postal codes, still doesn't work.

@burplede  Make sure you have location permission granted on the app when trying to input Canadian postal code 

Hi @burplede 

with Prepaid Credit card, you can put in any valid Canadian postal code.  Maybe try a different one

or if you are using the app, uninstall and reinstall and then try a different one.

Hello, does anyone know how to add a postal code to a vanilla prepaid card? Mine says I have to add it at vanillaprepaid.com but there is no place to add, any ideas? I am having issues with payment as it says postal code does not match. Support tells me I need to add a postal code to the card but I am struggling to do so.

PM payment system is buggy sometimes

if you are not in a rush, please wait a day or even longer before you try again.  When you try, try using both Incognito/private/secret mode on your browser and try with Public Mobile app (with Location Permission enabled)
