SMS not working after nuber transfer

I just switched to Public Mobile from Virgin and seems everything works expect my SMS (sending/receiving). Can you please help. I have reset phone, sim card in/out and still not working. Thanks!

yes data and voice calls work. I guess I will wait for a few hours then send them a direct message if haven't heard from them. thank you for your responses!

yes, PM has some problem with text on those new account.  They can fix it but I think they need to get to your ticket.  Check Community inbox for their reply or message them again if waited too long

I just send it an hour ago. but i transferred my number since last Friday, and SMS still not working.

how long you waited? They usually reply within 2 to 4 hours.  Maybe message them again if you already wait over 4 hours

I have exactly the same problem, still waiting for them to contact me, i already submitted a ticket.

Hey Kat, 

I just had the same issue. I asked them to issue me a new e-sim and when I was installing it I made sure to connect all my settings to this new sim when it was prompting me to to pick which sim would be connected to my contacts and my iMessage.

was it just sms issue? can you get inbound calls?

if SMS, probably a problem with activation.  Please ask PM agent to refresh your account.
