I just purchased your service. Originally, selected a physical SIM purchase but I cant wait for the SIM card to arrive and need immediate setup. Is it possible to have the SIM converted to ESIM without purchasing or alternatively, can you take the money that I used for the SIM and redirect that payment towards the ESIM?
Please advise!

I would suggest you check whether your phone is eSIM compatible. Go to the phone settings and check to see if there is a ADD eSIM setting. If there is a Add eSIM setting then the phone is compatible.
What is the make and model of your phone?
There are many members that didn’t check and went ahead with eSIM then find out the phone is not compatible…because it is free.
They would end up having a CS_Agent straighten it out for them to switch to a SIM…it maybe taking a day or two.

As per the other customers here, you can reach out to a CS Agent and request an eSIM instead. BUT if you prefer a physical SIM card, here are two faster ways.
To get a new SIM card the fastest routes are these.
https://www.publicmobile.ca/en/bc/pick-up-SIM - Find a local store in your area.
Amazon - Here you can get it cheaper and maybe a few days wait $4.99
Don’t worry about paying extra fees. You can reach out to a CS Agent and show them proof of purchase and they will gladly credit your account the amount paid, minus taxes.

i don't think you can, you will probably need to wait for the physical sim. But instead of waiting, you can buy another PM sim from Telus or Koodo store and complete the activation that way
