I just changed providers from public mobile to Rogers and my new SIM card isnt connecting. It says invalid SIM card. Network locked SIM card inserted. And I went back to Rogers and they said I need to contact public mobile to unlock my phone. Can someone help me out here, I can’t use my phone to make or receive calls. It needs a PIN to unlock

You may find it easier just to call telus to unlock your phone. 1 888 811 2323.

HI @CS_Agent
Are you supposed to send via private message the OP ( @UmmBent ) rather than posting in the forum here?
and you directed your first message to the wrong person ( @Outdoorsman ) as well. I think , it is better you just post a message here and ask OP to check private message and then send the message to OP's Community inbox.
of course, please try to connect to the correct person. More than once your team message me thinking I was the OP but I was just helping

Public doesn't lock phones or sell them locked.
Do you have any apps from Telus or Koodo on it? That might be a clue who to call. Or your friend would know. In any case, if it's locked by anyone in the Telus family, Public can unlock it.

Unless the phone was sold by Public Mobile they won't have any unlock codes if the phone is locked. You will need to follow up with your friend and have the source carrier provide the code.

No it was given to me by a friend. I just put my public mobile SIM card in and away I went

@UmmBent , was this phone purchased from Public Mobile? I don't believe the phones sold by Public Mobile are unlocked.
