Why are our Public Mobile phones picking up the Rogers network now? This has never happened before.
Is it a roaming arrangement between Telus and Rogers?
Location is Southern Gulf Islands, British Columbia.

Here is an update.
The phones show Rogers and usually full bars, but they are not connected to Rogers. They cannot call or text, even though a good signal with Rogers is shown. During the sending of the text, the Rogers signal indicators will disappear and no service is shown (our house does not have Telus cell service).

@Bert1 There's an "extended network" agreement between carriers to switch to another provider where the signal from the original carrier is not available. With Telus group the other provider's ID will then show on the phone until it picks up the original carrier's signal again. Perhaps that's the reason. Maybe there's a temporary outage for Telus where you are?

That is strange because Telus share Bell towers and not Rogers.
