HI,
I am a new Public subscriber and other than some porting in issues, I have been quite happy with the service.
We are planning a three week trip to the US. I currently have the basic $19 /mo. subscription.
I could purchase two 15 day US roaming add-ons for $60 but it appears that I could also just switch to the $30 /mo. CAN/US subscription for a month and then switch back for a net cost of $11. Am I missing something here?
Cheers

That seems odd. Do they only allow changes to higher cost subscriptions? Is that in the terms of service somewhere (must admit I did not read all the fine print)!

There's a good chance that after chaning to the $30 plan, you won't be able to go back to the $19 plan. Also, please note that none of Public Mobile's plans are per month. The plan that you are considering is a 30 day plan.

Hello @Gib7
You can only purchase 1 add on at a time. If you plan on being more than 15 days, it's WAY better to get a Canada/US plan instead. Cheapest is the $30 plan which IMO, better than addons. You will NOT be able to switch back to the $19. You will be stuck at the $30 plan moving forward unless you port out your number to another provider and then port back in as a new subscriber.
