Hi there,
I was wondering why PM would apply only 1 month rewards on new 3 months subscription.
I thought it would be 3 months rewards not one on my next payment.
Thx for your help.

Is that makes sense?
Thx community.
It's been a long time since I had an "old" 90 day plan, but if I remember correctly, renewal was as follows: Evening before renewal: rewards for the upcoming 3x30 days were credited to My Account, one was for that actual renewal night, the other two were for day 30 and 60 respectively.
Now you'll get the actual rewards added to your available funds at the start of each 30 day block, one at renewal (whick will immediately applied against the new plan cost), one at day 30 and one at day 60, both of those will accumulate in your available funds, then just before the following renewal the next batch of rewards is added to available funds, which now includes 3x rewards that go towards that payment.
I guess the new way of applying $ rewards means that you have to "earn" them during the payment cycle, whereas before you essentially got a cash advance on #2 and #3. Like the points system (do NOT change to points!) it binds the client more to the provider because it's psychologically harder to leave money on the table? (Before you could have just used your data and go to another provider with zero balance...)
Edited to add that I'd happily take an additional 2 batches of rewards for free as well, but unless their coding is way off and nobody has noticed yet, it's not going to happen. 😉

There wouldn't be any rewards losst. The rewards would be paid in 30-day intervals.

I should be getting 5 months rewards on my next payment in order to not loose 2 months rewards on my first 90 days subscription.
Is that makes sense?

@Veni the discount (and rewards discount if you are on your legacy rewards system) will be in the form of credit (available fund) on your my account. They will be spread out in 3 payments starting from couple days after your 90 days cycle start day. Since you get all the rewards and discount on the account as credit, your next 90 days renewal payment will be less

Why can't they just post it. Transparency?
PM decided to go back to 90 days plan but they spread the rewards on 3 months? Kind of weird. Instead of 1 step it will be 3 steps. So the next payment would be 3 times the rewards or credited to my credit card every month. Means on my first payment I'll be loosing 2 months rewards. Or what?
Thx to all of you. I'm great full for your help. Sorry if I'm asking a lot.

Since the new 90day plans only came into effect a few weeks ago, we don't have anyone yet who went through the full cycle.
It might be that one-time transition - it applied every 30days, your rewards will accumulate in your available funds and then on the next renewal you're payment will be back to $117 - $21 = $96? Can't confirm from own experience, though - I'm a week or so behind you for my scheduled plan change on renewal date.

@dabr wrote:@Veni It's been mentioned by others that the rewards get spread over the 90 day cycle, so going forward they will apply the $7 after 30 days etc. You will still receive $21 in rewards, just not all at once from the way I understand.
A CSA informed me of this being a recent change and the Community Manager confirmed that there were some changes to the way that rewards were paid out.

edit: @computergeek541 thanks for confirming the policy change.

Yes that one $44 or $39 if 90 days. I choose 90 days . Before it was $21 for 90 days now I can see $7 on next payment for 90 days so why not $21 if I'm charged for 3 months subscription. Double and triple work?.
Thx for your answer.

@Veni I believe you will receive them every 30 days instead of at the beginning of each 90 day cycle. Shouldn't be IMO but seems like PM has made a change from how they used to apply the rewards..
edit: BTW, which plan are you on? PM has a new offering for 90 day plans here:
Of course, schedule Change at Next Renewal as PM doesn't prorate or refund for current cycles.
