My husband and I both have your service . There has been a change in the reception in the Sunken Lake NS area. It is very poor quality, sketchy and drops calls slot. This was not the case in the past. Can you please check signal strength in this area.

Hi @Janet63 is your mobile data ok? Maybe just 3G is the problem ans PM needs 3G for voice.
Try to set your network to 3G Only for couple days and see how many signal bars you have on average and see if you have less missed calls

Have you tried both LTE and 3G?
I have better reception staying on the 3G network

Most likely some towers are deteriorating or are out of service.
You can ask agent for more details but be ready for no satisfactory answer.
To Contact CSA-agent; there are 2 methods:
https://www.publicmobile.ca/en/on/get-help/articles/contact-an-agent
If ticketing does not work very first time, contact agent directly.

hi it doesn't look like that area was very good to begin with. that area is surrounded by trees and the towers are spread apart. the blue flags are the towers for bell/Telus users. this could also be the result of PM decommissioning 3g towers
you can try these troubleshooting steps
- turn off the device, remove the sim and reinstall the sim after the device is turned back on.
- reset the network settings
- ask customer support to reset the network profile on their end.
if none of that works, you can either look into a cellphone booster or maybe switch to a provider that has volte(voice over LTE). another option would be to forward the devices to your home phone when not available.

I've found some deterioration in network quality for calls in my area (NL) too, the LTE network is fine but when you drop to 3G for calls reception isn't what it used to be...
