I cannot receive an mTAN from Germany. It was tested and it was sent but its being blocked in Canada. How can I receive it with public mobile? I only need to receive it once and then can setup a push notification.

sorry, PM support won't be able to help
International shortcode text, like 2FA text from US or overseas banks, are not guaranteed., it is a hit or miss. Regular international text are ok but not shortcodes. It might work on some providers sometime and experience show it will broke sometime
only Canadian shortcode text found here are guaranteed

So, best to check with your German source and ask if they can send via email or use Authenticator app instead
Also, if your just ported in your number, regular Canadian shortcode text might delay 3 to 7days. Some banks put the delay on purpose in case of sim fraud

Hey @Somebeach
Reach out to a CS Agent as they may have a way to resolve it. This has come up in the past but nobody really shares what the resolution is.

Let us know if they can fix the issue.

Unfortunately these are not accepted from external banks, or financial institutions internationally. Only Canadian banks. You can probably ask them to send it by email, which they probably will not.
