Can't I simply forward it directly from the phone # to Mighty Text, instead of going througha VoIP number? I got burned last time I received an OTP on a web-based number - they banned me for life! 😞
If you are paying for service while outside of Canada or the US then call forwarding your phone # to your voip app # and making use of a text forwarding app like Mighty Text ( you must leave the sim card in Canada, in a working phone left powered on and preferably connected a charger/outlet) then you have the Poor Man's roaming service.
If the one time password is being sent by a company by text message, you'll only receive that text message if you're in Canada or the U.S. You will not receive it if you're anywhere else.
