Received an offer for $5 off for up to 5 months if you refer a friend but not sure if I qualify

I'm on the 3G $15 250MB plan and I referred a friend who activated her Public Mobile account at 12AM on November 28th.  On the same day, I received a text offering $5 off your next 5 bills for both you and whoever you refer during the promo period.  She signed up for the Black Friday $35 20GB plan.  I also received the offer today via e-mail.

 

Since I received the offer AFTER activating her account (but on the same day), do I qualify for this?  When did this offer actually start?  If I do qualify, how do we take advantage of this offer?  Is it automatic?

 

That would suck if I just missed the offer.

@tranner85    Sometimes (rare) a CSA may respond or view community posts, but if you want to confirm the eligibility with them, then submit a ticket or send a private message.  Here's couple of links:

Yeah I received the text confirming a successful RAF and she did receive the $10.

 

The activation was done on November 28th, but it was done so just after midnight, central time.  I received the offer later that day on the 28th.

 

I would accept this as a solution, but I'm hoping for confirmation from a PM rep.  Do they view these boards or should I submit a ticket after a certain amount of time?

@tranner85   If the activation for the friend occurred on the Nov. 28th, then I certainly think you'll  qualify as long as your friend used your code.  The $5 account credit usually is credited the month after activation so perhaps by the end of the first week Jan/2023 you should see the account credit along with your friend.  The friend should also have, by now, received the one time $10 RAF credit and you should have, perhaps, received a Cha-Ching text from 611 shortcode of successful referral plus $1 credit.

edit:   maybe the first week in December would be when the RAF $5 account credit should happen and not January since the new activation happened in Nov.
