[Really weird problem] I cannot login my CRA account using data

Today, I tried to log into my CRA account using Public Mobile data, but the website kept noticing me that there are wrong username and password. I tried many times but showed the same result. I'm pretty sure that I typed the correct credential. 

 

After I switched to my home wifi, I logged into my CRA account successfully with my same phone and same browser.

 

It's really weird! I don't know what happened with Public Mobile network!

 

Can someone test it on your phone and see the result?

I performed a hard reset to my iPhone just now, and it worked 😀

I was able to successfully log into CRA accounts without an issue, with wifi OFF and Data ON.

 

Clear your device's cache, and reboot your phone, and try again.

Up to 800,000 people have been locked out of their CRA accounts this weekend. The CRA  is actively monitoring the dark web for possible security breaches. It is likely they would not allow you to log in due to the fact the server didnt recognize your IP address as your own.

There should be no difference between Wi-Fi and Data to access this service.

suggests the following tips (notice the one I bolded re your question)  :

  • Refresh your browser
  • Try using a different browser
  • Try using a different device
  • Clear your cache, delete your cookies and internet history
  • Try using the data on your cellphone as opposed to WIFI
  • Restart your computer/device
