I got my plan renewed on October 29. I've 3 GB promo and i haven't used any data but i got a msg after 2 days of renewal that I've used 75% of data. I hardly have any usage but I'm getting notification that my data is finished or consumed every month.
Please someone look in to this.

If your self serve account says there's been zero usage then you haven't. Sometimes 59pm sends out usage warnings by mistake. I recommend setting the data warning and limiter tools in your phone to avoid getting a correct usage warning from pm. Sometimes youll have a rogue app eating data in the background.

if your "overview" counter is showing you haven't used any data. then just ignore the text message. once in a while, public sends incorrect messages to customers

Just to avoid some possible confusion...I was meaning texts from 611...not dialing 611.

Hi @rohitkwatra Your phone must not be in sync with your 30-day plan. Mine was not too when I first joined Public Mobile. Go to your phone settings >> Network & Internet >> Public Mobile sim >> Mobile Data usage >> App data usage cycle

So again, where's your "msg after 2 days" from? If not from 611 then your phone is telling you something else.
Remember that most phones think your data is monthly. This place is 30 days. So you have to reset it each renewal if you want to use your phone tracker. The fact that there are no overage charges here mean that you may not really need to keep track.

@rohitkwatra Are you sure? If your WIFI connection went down or was weak it's possible that your data was activated and consumed. Another possibility is that your data counter was not reset properly.

Yes, that is true. I meant to say check the plan data allowance which is also listed under the My Data and Add-ons section.

Make sure you turn off auto updates for apps. Also turn off notifications for social media like Facebook and Twitter.

Data usage is updated twice daily in the usage area that also includes texts and phone calls. Look under the "my plan" section and click that usage button.

I thought data usage texts from pm are not sent when you have data add ons in your account. Has something changed?

Perhaps make sure your phone counter is sync-d with your renewal date. Are those 75% notifications coming from 611? 611 will notify you at 75%, 95% and apparently 100%.

My Phone settings shows I've used 1.46 GB only last month and 779 KB this month. I've checked the add on section. It does not show any usage there but just shows how much data I'm left with.

@rohitkwatra Log into your self-serve account and see what the current usage is on the Overview page under Add-ons section. Then review the Usage History to see when you used the data. If it shows you actually consumed 75% within 2 days or so, see what you used it on from your phone settings.

Check the settings on your phone to minimize data leakage. Manually enable data only for the apps you want. Make sure to turn OFF wifi Assist.
