Hi,
Some months ago I had given my credit card information to a friend to use with his public mobile reoccuring payment. Unfortunately, we're no longer friends. I was wondering if it would be possible to remove my credit card information (which I can validate) from his account. I figured this was a more straight forward way to go about it than trying to block the payment via my credit card.
Thank you.

I don't see CS will assist to remove CC from the friend's account. After all, he is not the owner of the account. But if OP wants to try, why not...

@dbc5638 I think it would be definitely worth asking CSA to help remove the credit card from the account.
If they cannot remove from his, maybe they will remove from BOTH his and yours. AFterall, it is your credit card.
So ask to remove the card from both accounts.
If they can verify they can and have done this, check to see it was removed from your account.
Then simply go back to your account and add it back into Autopay.
It will be a hassle to cancel your existing credit card; so worth a shot, in my opinion.

The only solution I see is to cancel your credit card and ask bank to issue you another one with different number.
I really doubt PM's CSR will be able to do anything as this is not your account even though it uses same CC.
Even if you know his/her user ID/pass and are able to log in and remove CC from that account will not work as he/she can re-enter card number at any time...
If your former friend is decent person asking him/her to remove CC from account, not to use it and forget number forever might work.

yes, that is the tricky part, you cannot even ask credit card not to accept his request. But as I said, likely asking credit card not to accept wont' work
You don't have access to his My Account to remove the card on his account? Again, calling CC to ask them reissue another card with another number might be your only choice

Have you asked him to please remove your cc info ? That would be the first thing to try.
If he won't...your options are limited.

I am a customer here and both accounts (mine and his) use the same credit card.

@dbc5638 I believe you don't have access to his Public Mobile My Account?
PM payment is different then those monthly reoccurring payments, I believe it is hard to just ask the credit card just not to accept payment request from PM. So, your best bet is to call the card, report stolen and have them to give you another card with a new number. Yes, it is trouble. But this is the trouble after giving out the card for friends to use.
Of course, best is to ask your friend to just logon to My Account and remove the card
btw, is that a ex boyfriend or girlfriend?

Contacting a Customer service agent (CSA) likely won't be helpful since you are not the owner of the account. CSA would require you to answer questions to verify ownership of account.
Either change credit card number or try to block the charge.
If you know the PIN, you could call
1-855-4PUBLIC
Follow prompts to remove credit card.

@dbc5638 : Are you a customer here? If so then _maybe_ the CSA's might do something. But I highly doubt it as it's somebody else's account. You would need to verify that you can have this kind of access. Good luck with that.
Your only option is to change the card.

Best to go to your bank and cancel that card and get a new one.
NEVER give cc info to anyone....ever
edit...have you asked your ex-friend to remove your cc from his file ?
