I have purchased a 1GB add-on and am trying to use the data in Canada itself. However, it is not working. On my subscription usage, it shows that I have 1GB left, but I am unable to use it. I don't have any data limiters turned on my phone, and I didn’t purchase funds but bought the add-on directly. Is there anything else I need to do to use my add-on? This is so frustrating!

It worked after 30mins-1hour. I never had to restart or turn on flight mode. I am just a bit frustrated as it is not instant. I guess this is what we get from a cheap provider. I am definitely switching from public this month end! Enough!

@ks200 Is this the $15 Canadian data add on, or could you have accidentally got the $20 US data add on?

try logout the app and log back in and see if the addon is showing, check Usage Breakdown
Also, check Payment history and check if the transaction is shown there
for the use of the data, reboot the phone and make sure the data limit is not enabled, it could have blocked the use of data as it reached the limit

Try resetting the Network setting on your phone and reboot your phone by powering off then back on.
