How do i stop public mobile from texting me at 12: am to tell me my monthly "rewards have been applied to my account". Don't have a landline anymore so I keep my phone on for emergencies and don't appreciate being woken by their confirmation text.
Solved! Go to Solution.

If everyone would submit a ticket about this they might solve it. If you're reading this, please submit a ticket. Responses I've received from Public Mobile to my tickets on this issue range from "We didn't sent it; it's automated" as though they can't change the time on an automated message or else "That sounds like spam. Please don't click any links in the message" because the staff who respond to the tickets have no idea what's actually happening.
They will probably need to get a lot of tickets before they seriously consider it an issue.

@mebwp2 @umnikke8 Yes, both payment texts used to come around 9am PT and it's definitely more of annoyance for anyone receiving these texts on ET. Why these text notifications got split is still a mystery, however, it's even more puzzling that PM still hasn't managed to fix this since they have been aware of it for quite some time now.

HI @umnikke8 Yes, midnight message are always Important!! 🙂
The workaround people here has been suggesting is to add the contact (611) into your contact book , then use selective notification to mute the notification.
But do not try to block it. Once in awhile, they will have important messages and you don't want to miss.

Yep, it's really annoying just to get the message. They used to send all the monthly status messages around 11am, now I get half at 11am and half at 11pm.

Thank you Will try that.. But realistically they shouldn't be texting at midnight regardless of it being automated.
Thanks again.

Make a contact using 611. Silence notifications from it. Or I schedule my do not disturb to be on overnight. Mostly due to the building intercom.
