hi there- I’m looking to get a prorate refund for my fees for transfering my line

if your new network is in the Telus family...they may give you credit for the fees you lost at PM. You must ask them for that credit. Otherwise, nothing due from Public Mobile.

Unfortunately, Public mobile does not pro-rate plans. So, if you port out from PM, you will lose whatever is remaining in your present plan. Due to prepaid nature of Public mobile.
We usually recommend porting out a few days before your next renewal date. Gives you a few days just in case something goes wrong with port request, etc.

PM does NOT provide any refund for unused service if you close/cancel/port out your number

Sorry, PM is a prepaid service therefore no refunds if you switched plan when you clicked NOW rather than on your next Renewal date.
You can try asking a CS_Agent but let us know what they say.
