Is it possible to signup for a plan for just 1 month, I have a family member here from out of country and just need a plan for 30 days.

if your family member will have access to free wifi, have him/her/it consider downloading free voip app such as Textnow. It'll assign you a Cdn number. Using your wifi, they'll be able to call/text most any Cdn or US number for gratis. Not sure where you at, but where I live there's free wifi just walking around town, going to Walmart, Tim's and McD's. Did I mention that it's free !

Technically - yes.

Sign up, choose a plan, pay the bill. Deactivate autopay. When relative is ready to go back, log in and declare phone lost/stolen. Account will be suspended right away and closed after 90 days of no pay.
