I bought a pre-owned phone and I am suppose to receive a data add on. How do I get it?

"Plus, we’ll throw in a free one-time 5GB data add-on."

Probably not long enough. Hopefully waiting will be the solution.

Yeah used the same email and everything else lines up so I think I just have to be patient. I am new to Public Mobile. Actually just got the phone and open the account. So I will wait before taking any more steps.

No worries, you will still get this. Just have to be patient as it may take a little awhile as per the conditions.

@pmoore   did you use the same email address as the one you used on yoiur PM account?

Usually it will be added within 72 hours.  But with CPO phone, it might be 72 hours after the order was picked up and acknowledged or after the phone was shipped.  The details wasn't clear in the original announcement.  Maybe you can open a ticket with PM Support to confirm (and remember to come back and provide us an update)

 

To open ticket with PM

 

1. If you have access to My account: At https://publicmobile.ca/chatbot.

Start by typing "Submit a ticket", then click "Contact Us", Then click "Other", then click "Click here to submit a ticket ↗" 

2. If you don't have access to My Account or have trouble with Chatbot: Private message CS Agent at:

**Monitor your Community inbox (envelope icon on the top right) after the ticket is opened.  CS Agent will reply you there
