Hi,
I can't seem to port my Koodo number to Public Mobile. The CS Agent says my number is not portable. I followed all the instructions as per the process but alas, no joy. Anyone have any solutions?

Just an update, after about 90 minutes on the phone with Telus, they were able to fix the issue with my phone number. I was then able to port over my number using the app. As of this morning everything is working as one would hope.

No balance, and the phone is paid off as well. It did have financing but that ended in September.

do you have an outstanding balanced owed to Kodoo ? Did your plan also include financing a cellphone you've bought ?

That's what I read before I decided to swap over. I don't want to change numbers as I then have to tell all my current contacts to update my number. And I'd just go back to Koodo except that I am being told that I'll still have to pay for this current subscription, which began 2.5 hours ago.
I have written the agent to ask about escalating as per your suggestion.
Thanks

All numbers from Koodo can be ported into PM, no reason it cannot. So, you should reply CS_agent and ask them to escalate or explain why

why not just take a new number from the long list of possible numbers in your area.
