Hi all,
Hoping you could assist me with a couple of clarifications.
1. I already have a PM subscription, but want to have another line/number for a different phone. I'm aware that it requires me to use a separate email address and SIM, but could you please clarify whether I should click on "New to Public Mobile" (technically I'm not) or "Already have an account" after clicking on the new subscription plan I want. I felt that clicking on "Already have an account" may change my existing plan which is not what I'm trying to do.
2. Also, are e-SIMs compatible with all phones or just newer models? The phone I want to use is a feature/dumb phone.
Thank you.

Thank you slusagm - that suits me better. That's probably what I did for my other subscription, which is why I don't recall downloading an app.

if you don't want to use the app to subscribe, you can still use the browser. You will get as far as payment step, then you will need to message PM and they will handle the rest of the subscription for you
message them using this link:

Thanks very much for your response slusagm. It's been a while since I first subscribed to PM and don't recall downloading an app to subscribe initially, but perhaps I did. I'm certain I have spyware on my other phone which is why I'm getting another line (and using a dumb phone). so I don't want to involve the other smartphone/network at all. I'll have to figure out a workaround - I'll probably go to a Telus store for the SIM so perhaps they can help w/that.

@ellsy2 Don't forget to use the referral code from your current account when you're setting up the new one.

click New even you are technically an existing
and can the dumb phone download the app to subscribe? you need app to subscribe. So, if the dumb phone cannot download app, you will download on another phone and help
and your dumb phone probably use physical sim. Buy a Public Mobile sim card form Amazon for $5 or from Telus or Koodo store for $10

hi @ellsy2
1, download PM app on the other phone, and yes, New to Public Mobile and then use another email to setup a new account
2. not all phone has esim. Older dumb phones use only physical sim card
