Postal Strike Sim Delivery ?

I did a quick search and I only saw threads from 2016. With the postal strike is PM sending out Sims via another carrier or simply waiting for it to be over ? Thanks for your time.

hi @Viv20King

2 days is when PM will ship out the sim card , not when you will receive it

but you can check with PM support for update

Can I cancel my SIM delivery?  I was told 2 day delivery and now I see it can be up to 10 days.  I don't want to wait another week.

@Lloyd4 That's great to know they're shipping via Purolator during the strike. And that's fast! Public Mobile's issue seems to be they aren't consistent about handing it off to the shopping company. Sounds like you lucked out though, which is great.

Mine came within 2 days by Purolator, which is owned by Canada Post, during the strike

Strike or not, do not order physical sim cards from Public Mobile directly; they are inconsistent (that's being generous) at fulfilling orders in a reasonable timeframe, or at all.

Go to a local Telus or Koodo store to see if they have stock, or order for $5 from Amazon:

Public Mobile is a prepaid service.

Thank you, I just spend an absorbant amount of time searching Amazon and all I found were pre paid Sims. It definitely makes sense to order from Amazon thank you !!

HI @Darren21

they might send via another courier during Canada Post strike

but do not buy from PM online, it usually take long even without the strike.  Buy in person  from Telus or Koodo or Mobile Klinik stores ($10) or via Amazon ($5):
