I ported over my previous number from Telus. In my public mobile app it shows me my previous, Telus phone number (success) but when I send text messages, it’s still from the newly generated public mobile phone number, not my Telus number which I want transferred over. I replied yes to the Telus message to approve the transfer request. Telus also removed my line from my previous business plan (success) Is there anything else I have to do? Like change a setting in my messages app?

shouldn't need to change any settings...try rebooting your cell to see if that helps. Worst case you can call the number sent to the little envelop icon on top right side of page to request port assistance.
