Are you porting into Public Mobile or out of Public Mobile. May I also ask what issue you're having? Maybe we may be able to resolve them for you here.

Porting or porting in to PM.
If porting out, keep your PM account active and the rest is up to your new carrier to port out of PM.
If you are porting into PM, keep your old SIM in your phone and account active.
Activate the PM SIM on the PM app and reply to the text with YES within 90 minutes.
